Mars Curiosity Rover
NASA's Mars Curiosity rover was put into safe mode after a computer glitch caused by corrupt files. The rover is now running on a back up computer free of corrupt files. The rover's job has been put to a stop while the back up computer try's to fix the main computer. NASA believes the problem may be due to stray cosmic rays, some of Curiosity's creators say "You can still get high-energy particles that can cause the memory to be corrupted. It certainly is a possibility and that's what we're looking into." The timing of this glitch was horrible due to NASA just beginning rock analyzing.
NASA has tested the rover extensively but no problem like this has occurred. Which leads many people to believe the conspiracy. (To read the conspiracy click the "Conspiracy" tab).
